We are a husband / wife team who had enough city life & corporate America. We headed west. We purchased Mountainside Cabins in May of 2018 - an established cabin vacation rental business consisting of 5 custom built, rustic, mountainside, cabins on a single lane, mountain, dirt road with 40 acres to explore. If you are looking for a simple, rustic, clean cabin in the woods - this is it! We are surrounded by Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests and are in the French Broad River basin. The AppalachianTrail goes through town. This area offers places to hike, fish, kayak as well as many local places to eat and shop.

We can provide a tour of our homestead and show you how we raise our animals and grow our gardens.

This two story cabin sleeps up to 6 with a private king size bedroom downstairs and an upstairs loft (accessable by stairs) is furnished with 4 twin beds. It features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living area, and private bathroom. There is a a private backyard, picnic table, grill, and fire pit. It is a favorite with groups of friends, or families with children.
